How to know which Night 2 boss you’re getting
You can predict Night 2 by checking the Night 1 boss pair:
- If Night 1 is Curseblade + Divine Warrior, Night 2 will be Mohg.
- If Night 1 is Demon from Below + Demon in Pain, Night 2 will be Demon Prince.

The real Demon Prince setup happens on Night 1
Night 2’s Demon Prince variant depends on which demon you kill first during the Demon in Pain / Demon from Below fight.
In trios, neither demon is especially hard, but the kill order matters a lot.
✅ Your priority should be to kill Demon in Pain first.
Why this matters
- If you kill Demon from Below first, Night 2’s Demon Prince leans heavily into fire-throwing attacks, which are annoying to evade and can drain your healing quickly.
- If you kill Demon in Pain first, you’ll usually get the more manageable variant, mainly because of its beam attack pattern.

How to punish the beam variant
One of the Demon Prince’s key attacks is a long sequence where it:
- Leaps backward
- Channels energy
- Fires a wide beam sweeping left-to-right, then back again multiple times, covering a huge area
What you should do:
- Stay close when it leaps back
- Rush in and get behind it
- Dump damage while it’s locked into the long beam animation
This beam lasts long enough that aggressive positioning can win you the phase.

⚠️ Watch for the fake-out leap
Sometimes it uses a different leap that causes fire to erupt/spread from the takeoff point, which can chunk your HP hard if you’re too close or standing in the wrong spot. If you see that variant, give it a step of space before re-engaging.

If you want, paste the rest of your draft and I’ll rewrite it in the same style so it reads like a clean guide section.
