To use fast travel in Dune: Awakening, you need to visit one of the designated hub locations that connect to other destinations. Early in the game, a great starting point is Griffin’s Reach Tradepost in Hagga Basin.

Any of the connected NPC safe zones can work, but this early option lets you start using the system right away.

Once you are inside the Tradepost (or another hub), look for a masked NPC standing beside a projected Ornithopter. Talk to them to open the fast travel conversation, sometimes referred to as the Taxi Service.

When you ask to fly, you will see multiple destination choices. This is especially useful if you want to bounce between areas quickly, or if you are stuck without transport and need a way out.

Pick the location you want, pay a small fee in Solaris, and you will be taken there immediately.

For example, we selected The Anvil. After a single loading screen, we arrived. Fast travel is a great backup plan when you lose a vehicle, and it also saves time when you need to return to earlier zones for a Contract or Story Quest.

From Griffin’s Reach Tradepost, you can travel to:

  • The Anvil (Hagga Basin)
  • Harko Village
  • Arrakeen

These destinations are particularly useful because they give you instant access to major faction areas. So if Arrakis leaves you stranded in the dunes, remember that there is always a way to get moving again. Good luck out there.
