How to Get Geiger Counters in Arc Raiders

Geiger Counters were introduced alongside the Stella Montis map. You can recycle one into Batteries x3 and Exodus Modules x1, sell it for 3,500 coins, and carry 3 per stack. The item info points toward Exodus locations, which is why Stella Montis is your primary hunting ground.

Best farming method (low risk, fast resets)

If you only care about Geiger Counters and don’t need to bring gear, consider queueing in with an empty loadout. It’s riskier in fights, but it gives you a secure pocket that the free loadout doesn’t, which is huge if you find one early.

1. Load into Stella Montis
   Your goal is to spawn close to Assembly or Assembly Workshop, ideally right at the start of the match.
2. Bad spawn or late match? Reset
   If you spawn far away, or it feels like the match is already well underway, you can surrender and return to Speranza without losing anything (since you brought nothing).
3. Loot tool chests around Assembly Workshop
   Once you get a good spawn near Assembly Workshop, check every tool chest in the area. They’re usually yellow or white and have strong odds for Geiger Counters plus other high-rarity loot. You’ll find a few on the ground floor, then more upstairs near the hatch and inside the nearby room.
4. Secure it and extract
   If you collect multiple useful items, stash the Geiger Counter in your safe pocket, then head for the closest extraction. If you’re unarmed, calling that out to other raiders can sometimes reduce your chances of being hunted.

Because Geiger Counters are valuable and don’t drop often, it can be worth choosing Night Raid whenever it’s available to improve your overall farming efficiency and consistency.
