Very Comfortable Pillow in ARC Raiders (Scrappy Upgrade Essential)
If you’ve started upgrading Scrappy, you already know he’s more than a mascot—he’s basically a passive-income machine. But once you push into Level 4 and Level 5, two items suddenly become the pain point:
These don’t spawn in generic loot like common materials. They’re tied mainly to Residential and Commercial containers/areas, which is why players often waste hours searching the wrong spots. Below are the locations that consistently produce results.
Where to Find Very Comfortable Pillow in ARC Raiders
Best Location: Buried City – Red Tower
The single best farm is Red Tower in Buried City.
Check these first:
- White Plastic Containers:
Search the white plastic shelves/containers on the outside ledge of Red Tower. These are widely reported as the most consistent Pillow + Cat Bed source, often spawning multiple items. - Red Lockers:
Red lockers inside Red Tower can also roll Very Comfortable Pillow.
If Red Tower is contested, don’t force it pivot to the backups below.
Backup Location: Buried City Hospital
If you spawn far from Red Tower (or it’s already being farmed), the Hospital is a solid second choice.
- Focus on Red Lockers on the ground floor
- These can spawn Very Comfortable Pillows and sometimes even Light Bulbs
- Not guaranteed like Red Tower containers, but still worth checking
Backup Location: Dam Battlegrounds – Testing Annex
If you’re on Dam Battlegrounds, skip wandering random apartments and go straight to the Testing Annex (especially if you spawn on the east side).
- The red lockers here are confirmed spawns for:
- Very Comfortable Pillow
- Cat Beds
This is one of the best “non-Buried City” routes for pillow farming.
Where to Find Cat Beds in ARC Raiders
Best Location: Blue Gate – Northwest Village
For Cat Beds specifically, the most consistent farm is the Village in the northwest of Blue Gate. It’s dense, residential, and packed with the right loot pool.
Prioritize:
- Shelves inside houses:
Cat Beds often spawn openly in living rooms and bedrooms. - Rusty Crates outside homes:
Easy to ignore, but surprisingly high value for pet-related items.
If the village hasn’t been looted yet, you’re very likely to find at least one.
Secondary Location: Buried City – Grandioso Apartments
Prefer Buried City routes? Grandioso Apartments (southwest) is a strong alternative.
- Loot bedrooms and check tops of dressers
- Run the floors quickly these buildings often spawn Cat Beds
Extra hotspot: the Pharmacy near the center of town is also frequently mentioned, with Cat Beds showing up on store shelves.
That said, if you’re already in Buried City, Red Tower still deserves the first check, since it can produce both Cat Beds and Pillows in the same stop.
Safe Pocket Is Every Raider’s Best Friend
The instant you find a Cat Bed or Very Comfortable Pillow, put it in your Safe Pocket.
- If you die, you still keep the item
- It still counts toward the Scrappy upgrade
- Don’t risk carrying these in your main backpack “just one more stop”
